莊文岳 Wen-Yue Zhuang 
莊文岳(紋岳),台灣彰化人,國立台灣藝大、台灣師大教育學程畢業後,曾任教實踐大學推廣教育講師。自熱愛昆蟲的次子因身體行動不便之後,虔心昆蟲生態彩繪創作,多年摸索,由畢業於就讀台大昆蟲研究所的兒子擔任生態知識指導,身為作家的妻子協助昆蟲培養;其昆蟲畫作自成一格,國內外展覽數十次,以生動自然,別具溫馨之情而著稱。
Wen-Yue Zhuang was born in Changhua, Taiwan, and graduated from National Taiwan University of Arts. He also obtained a certificate in education from National Taiwan Normal University, and later taught at Shih Chien University. He turned to insect painting after his second son, who has always been a great lover of insects, was permanently handicapped by a severe disease. His son, who graduated from the National Taiwan University’s graduate program in Entomology, and his wife, who is a writer, are his best companions in his exploration of the art and beauty of insects, the former providing him with knowledge about insects, and the latter assisting him in insect-breeding. Wen has held numerous exhibitions in Taiwan and abroad, and is known for the vividness of his works and the warm sentiments they convey. |
